Tutorial: Sending a BeConfident Playthrough Video

In this tutorial, you will learn how to record a video of your BeConfident Playthrough and send it using two different tools: SendPark for recording your camera and Berrycast for recording your screen. Before you start, find a quiet place where you can comfortably record your video. Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Start a Simulation

• Open a web browser and go to the website: portal1.beconfident.io

• Sign in to your BeConfident account.

• Start a simulation and leave the simulation screen running.

Step 2: Start Recording Your Camera with SendPark

• Open the email you received and click on the link provided for SendPark.

  • On the SendPark page, enter your name and email address.

    

• Select your camera from the available options.

  

• Grant permission to access your camera and microphone when prompted.

  

• Press the red button to start recording your camera.

  

• If you see the timer running, it indicates that your camera recording is in progress. You are now ready to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Start Recording Your Screen with Berrycast

• Open the email you received and click on the link provided for Berrycast.

• You may see a message asking access your microphone when prompted. You can ignore this request.

• Click on the "Rec" button to initiate the screen recording.

  

• Select the screen you want to share for the BeConfident Playthrough. Ensure that the option "Share tab audio" is selected.

  

• Your browser will switch to the BeConfident simulation tab automatically.

• Before continuing, double-check that the screen recording is running. Go to the Berrycast tab and confirm that the message "Your screen is being recorded" is displayed, along with the running timer.

  

Step 4: Go Through the Interview

• Make sure you press full screen before going for an interview. You can press ESC in your keyboard to exit after you finish

  

• In the BeConfident Playthrough simulation, select your desired job and proceed with the interview questions.

• If at any point you wish to restart the interview, you can do so. Just make sure to keep the recording running.

To Finish the Recording and Submit the Video:

• When you are finished with the BeConfident Playthrough, click on "Stop Sharing" to end the screen recording.

  

• Switch to the Berrycast tab and wait for the video to finish processing and upload.

  

• Once the video is uploaded, click on "Send Video" to submit your recorded video.

  

• Switch to the SendPark tab and click on the stop button to end the camera recording. When prompted with the question "Do you want to send this video?" select "Yes."

  

• Wait for the video to finish uploading. Once uploaded, you have successfully submitted your video.

If You Want to Start Over

• If you want to start the recording process again from scratch, go to the SendPark tab and stop the recording. When asked if you want to use the video, answer "No."

• Then, return to the Berrycast tab, stop the recording, and after the video is processed, select "Record Again" instead of "Send Video." Repeat Step 3 to start the screen recording again.
