How do I start an interview?

If you're looking to practice your interview skills using our BeConfident tool, you've come to the right place. In this article, we'll guide you through the steps you need to take to start an interview simulation on our platform.

Step 1: Click on "start simulation"

Once you've logged into the BeConfident tool, you must first click on the "start simulation" button. This will take you to the interview simulation section of the platform.

Step 2: Allow access to your mic

In order to use the BeConfident tool for interview simulations, you'll need to allow access to your microphone. A pop-up window will appear asking for your permission to access your mic. Simply click on "Allow" to proceed.

Step 3: Read the message and press "I understand"

Before you start the interview simulation, you'll be presented with a message warning you not to close the browser once the interview starts. Otherwise, you will lose your information. Take a moment to read through this message carefully, and once you understand what it says, click on the "I understand" button.

Step 4: Wait for the app to load

Once you've clicked on "I understand," the app will begin to load. This may take a few seconds, so be patient and wait for the app to load fully before proceeding.

Step 5: Select your industry

Once the app has loaded, you'll be presented with a list of industries to choose from. Select the industry that best represents the type of job you're applying for.

Step 6: Select the job you want to practice

After selecting your industry, you'll be presented with a list of jobs within that industry. Choose the job that you want to practice for, and the interview simulation will begin.

Congratulations! You're now ready to start practicing your interview skills using the BeConfident tool. Remember to speak clearly, listen carefully to the interviewer's questions, and answer them as honestly and confidently as possible. Good luck!
